If you are interested in serving as a peer reviewer for UBJ-BAS, please contact our Managing Editor at ejournal@ub.edu.sa and provide your full contact details, area of expertise, and a list of your recent publications.
If selected as a reviewer, your name will be added to our database of potential referees. When a manuscript aligns with your expertise, one of our editors will reach out to you. Please respond promptly to indicate whether you are available to review the paper. If you are unable to complete the review within two (2) weeks, kindly inform the editor immediately so an alternative reviewer can be assigned. If you accept the review request, please confirm your availability.

Review Process
Each submitted article undergoes evaluation by at least two reviewers to ensure academic rigor. Additionally, all papers are assessed for linguistic accuracy and clarity. The thematic review process determines acceptance or rejection based on the originality, theoretical and practical significance, content quality, and overall presentation of the submission.
All manuscripts undergo certain review process and are evaluated by multiple reviewers.
- Pre-Review: Upon receiving a submission, the Editorial Office conducts an initial assessment to verify the manuscript's validity, language fluency, and completeness.
- The manuscript is also cross-checked in the CrossRef database to ensure originality and prevent plagiarism.
- Formal Peer Review: The manuscript is assigned to official reviewers who conduct a detailed evaluation based on quality, originality, and relevance.
- Editorial Decision: After the peer review process, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection.
The entire review process is completed within approximately four weeks from the initial submission.
